BSS is looking for full time security monitors to work in our Residential Reentry Center providing services to the ex-offender population. The appropriate candidates will possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal, will have excellent time management skills, the ability to multi-task, limit set and work as part of a team. Job duties include, but are not limited to, resident counts, anti-narcotics testing, monitoring resident flow into and out of the program, report writing, searches, facility upkeep, filing, answering phones, etc. Must be able to work long term, full time, any shift, weekends and holidays, as needed. The candidate must submit, at the time of application, a 3 year DMV/MVR print out. The ideal candidate must be able to pass a criminal background investigation. The position is 40+ hours per week, which includes attendance at mandatory staff meetings/trainings, twice per month. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
